At the apex of Highway 20 which cuts through the North Cascade National Park in Northwest Washington State, Cascade Pass has a legendary rest stop with a truly epic overlook that’s perfect for epic mountain photography art. Dominating the view to the south is the Liberty Bell Group, featured in this fine art mountain photograph. The peak on the right is Liberty Bell Mountain, and continuing to the left are Concord Tower, Lexington Tower, North Early Winters Spire, and South Early Winters Spire.
 
Technically it was mid-fall, but the snow on the ground and sub-zero weather sure made it feel like winter. And since, as I captured this mountain photography art print, the first rays of sunlight hit the north and south Early Winters Spires initially, I was inspired to name this rustic mountain wall art piece “Early Winters First Sun”.
